Along with raising two beautiful children, Eric and Jill work together and since 2004 have currently owned/operated Blue Trail Productions based in greater Atlanta GA, having produced over 800 video productions ranging from commercials, documentaries, company profiles and live events. From non-profit organizations to small businesses and large companies like Walmart, Hershey’s and Kleenex, they have provided a wide range of productions that have made an impact. Another part of the company, Blue Trail Entertainment Inc. is developing, producing and distributing quality feature films and documentaries with RIFF (redemptive, inspirational, faith or family) content.  They work closely with experienced and award-winning professionals in the arts and entertainment industry, and aspire to continually expand their network.

Eric and Jill wrote, developed and produced “HEROES OF DIRT” (PG13, 2015), a 98-minute independent feature length action sports/drama movie released in limited theatrical outlets in 60 U.S. markets via Cinemark, Carmike and independent theaters.  Heroes of Dirt was named among the 2015 Top 75 Fall Movies to Watch by New York Magazine / Vulture.com, listed along films such as The Martian, Hunger Games: MockingJay Part 2, Spectre, and Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. The first BMX movie in 30 years is about a self-focused BMX dirt rider who aspires to become the next stunt champion and is forced to mentor a troubled teen. The main scripture theme explored is “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends” (John 15:13 NIV). The Dove-rated “family-approved” film obtained promotion partnerships with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, X Games and USA BMX.  It received great audience ratings and positive critical review on Rotten Tomatoes as “combining the best elements of Hollywood and arthouse films: equally tender, heartwarming, relatable and inspirational while remaining a captivating, exhilarating and thrilling experience.”

On Heroes of Dirt, Eric served as director, main screenwriter, executive producer, editor and sound mixer, whereas Jill served as producer, co-screenwriter, unit production manager, line producer, co-editor, and marketing director. She is also a passionate singer/songwriter with over 100 song compilations in contemporary Christian music. They are blessed and grateful for the many men and women who have supported and worked with them through the years.
